Boiler operator training and opportunities for certification tests
FVB and Teknikutbildarna are offering training for boiler operators and preparation for personal certification of boiler operators.
FVB has online training, open training sessions, and opportunities for company-based training.
As part of our cooperation with Teknikutbildarna, we can now offer certification testing for boiler operators in accordance with AFS 2017:3 via RISE, which is accredited for personal certification of boiler operators.
About the certification test:

The test consists of multiple-choice questions where only one option is correct.

The passing test score is 70 percent. The test has multiple sections, where 50 percent for each section is required to pass.

Maximum test time is 2 hours.

Scores are reported via email within one week after the certification test.
Once you have passed the test, you can apply for certification from the certification body RISE. The application costs SEK 3,000 excluding VAT. There is also an additional fee of SEK 3,000 excluding VAT each following year to maintain the certification.
The application for certification must be sent in to RISE within 6 months of the test date.
