Alarm system upgrade before the 2G/3G network is shut down

The 2G and 3G mobile networks will soon be phased out, which will affect alarm transmitters for operation alarms at plants. FVB is offering customers with this type of equipment an upgrade to new hardware that works on the 4G network.

All mobile operators in Sweden with a 2G/3G network will gradually be phasing them out, and the old networks will be completely shut down by the end of 2025. This will affect many companies using 2G/3G modems to send alarms to the emergency service when their plants are unmanned. When the 2G and 3G networks are shut down, it will no longer be possible to use this service.
